ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drop beads with the use of a Beadulator and load/unload the produced beads in a lyophilizer
Perform bead sieving, inspection and packaging
Recognize minor issues and defects and completes necessary documentation and escalates accordingly
Monitor machine problems and informs the Supervisors and Leads of any issues
Set up and change over on equipment
Work safely with hazardous chemicals including liquid nitrogen and follow all Safety policies to ensure zero incidents in the lab
Recommend or suggest improvement ideas in the lab that will positively affect production efficiency, Quality and Safety compliance
Recognize minor issues from the equipment, and any affiliated documentation.
Maintain cleanroom standards, practices, and housekeeping according to Standard Operating Procedures
Must be flexible with the work schedule – modified shift times, overtime and working weekends
Education or Experience (in years):
High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience) with 1-2 years of related work experience OR AA or Technical Trade Degree with 0-1 years of work experience
Minimum of 1 year working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Knowledge of GMP/ISO regulated manufacturing standards
Knowledge and skills:
Must be able to follow cGMP and cGLPs and be familiar with FDA/ISO standards
Must be able to follow direction, able to understand SOPs and demonstrate understanding through speech and/or written form
Requires thorough understanding of cCMP's and regulations applicable to the FDA
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work in a clean room environment
2 years of medical equipment experience
2 years of working in a GMP/ISO manufacturing environment
Experience working with chemicals like liquid nitrogen
Bachelor’s degree with a science background
