ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with sales and finance leadership to build annual commission plans consistent with commercial and corporate goals.
Manage the quarterly commission process for the sales team. This includes understanding and applying the commission plan consistently, ensuring commissions calculations comply with the plan and managing exception requests versus policy. Strategize on future modifications to reduce and/or eliminate gaps.
Develop and manage data rules and collaborate with Master Data, IT, and other business functions to deliver a sustainable data framework for commission calculation and reporting.
Integrate data sources and information (SAP, BI, Salesforce) to support an automated commission process.
Provide communication and training for sales leaders and representatives on standard commission principles and policy.
Work with regional sales leadership to set territorial alignment and growth rates and deliver annual goals to field staff.
Interact with sales representatives and leadership to provide guidance and resolve questions around the commission plan.
Partner with finance to administer ICM software, including setting long term roadmap and defining future state upgrades and implementation.
Develop and communicate compensation related training materials and guidelines.
Periodically analyze the effectiveness of compensation plan designs.
Provide analytical support for other sales compensation projects and initiatives as needed. Exercise judgment and creativity in selecting potential solutions. Determine and develop recommendations and carry-out decisions to completion. Manage projects effectively despite multiple priorities and deadlines.
Maintain quarterly sales rankings and President’s Club details publish reports to sales leadership

Knowledge and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area preferred with 5 years of experience in a similar role working with a commercial organization OR
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area with 3 years work experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups), Access, SQL and/or VBA
Strong communication and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal direction
Highly analytical, strong attention to detail and an ability to set and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with commission management software (Xactly, ICM, CallidusCloud)
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a growing company
Ability to translate complex analytical data into an easily understandable format
Results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with a hands-on mentality
Proven ability to think creatively, developing new ideas and forward-thinking solutions
Demonstrated analytical skills in deriving insights from data and predictive data modeling
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, group dynamic and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team is essential
Ability to work in an office environment.
Considerable amount of computer and phone work
Delivering in person/remote presentations
Lifting objects up to 25 lbs.
